How to clean the chlorinator’s cell?

The chlorinator cell is a fundamental piece in the process of a pool’s saline chlorination. It’s the place where the electrolysis takes place, meaning, the reaction made by a composition of salt that allows the equipment to be sanitized without having to use chemical products. Being this the key, it’s very important to keep it in good conditions.

Cleaning the chlorinator’s cell isn’t, at all, complicated. In order to facilitate your pool’s maintenance, and its cell in particular, BSPool indicates the basic steps to follow. In this way, it’ll be able to fullfill, in an easy, agile and comfortable way, with the mission of appropriately taking care of the chlorinator.

First step: the chlorinator wash

The cleaning process of the salt chlorinator cell must start closing this piece with its corresponding plug. After this, the chlorinator must be placed in a bucket. In this bucket is where the specific liquid will be added to clean the object. Once it’s inside, the client should wait 15 minutes approximately.

Second step: checking

After the waiting time is over, the liquid must be removed and the salt chlorinator cell must be checked to see if it was properly washed, with no traces of incrustations. If this is the case, all that remains to do is to put the cell back in its usual position and screw the two connectors, in order to correctly connect the wires. And if, on the contrary, the piece still has dirt marks, it is essential to repeat the entire explained process.

An easy process with BSPool

In summary, it is an easy process to execute. Also, BSPool has a wide range of products and counts with the best cells and saline chlorination equipment. In this way, it will be easy to find the best products that adapt best to your needs.
